Genevieve's Cottage by the Sea is a special place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. Built on the shores of Bass Harbor, you can take in the activity of the working harbor by day and sleep to the sound of the gentle waves by night. If you like to create in the kitchen while on holiday, this home was previously a cooking school. The kitchen is equipped with a 6 burner commercial stove and many other amenities for gourmet treats. The open living area has a dining table/chairs, sofa and a cushioned window seat for relaxing in comfort. The 1st floor master bedroom has a full-sized bed and is adjacent to the full bath. A spiral staircase leads up to the loft bedroom with a queen-sized bed and the sofa bed has room for 2 more vacationer's. The Island Explorer can be picked up close by to visit Acadia National Park 's highlights and tours, then return to Genevieve's Cottage, the cozy interior comforts and the deck with it's panoramic views and lovely sunsets!
